Sure its not the hydraulic system has air in it? The slave arm should move almost an inch when you press the pedal all the way down to the floor. The disc goes in so the side with the most sticking out of the hub is away from the flywheel. Its that way so that it won't hit the flywheel bolts.

the thicker part of the clutch where the springs sit go transmission side.

MEANING THAT THE HUB IN THE CENTER OF THE DISC GOES FACING IN TOWARDS THE TRANNY????

If this is a true 4 puck racing clutch it probably don't have

springs,,,just plate steel with 4 pucks

if that's the case then I don't think it matters which way it goes

anyway you can post a pic????

To me it sounds like a hydralic problem

like Indiana said " does your slave cylinder move 1inch when the

pedal is pressed????"

it moves 1 inch...its a new slave and master cylinder...those the hub of the disc faces in toward the tranny....or out...asking a friend did a clutch job on mini cooper and he had 2 put outwards...not the normal hub in towards tranny
