Boost leak checker

Well i have been smelling gas during boost for a while, but could never see any raw fuel leaks. I suspected a boost leak after the throttle body so i made this checker. I had everything laying around but the pvc pipe.

I found a leak around a screw plugging a vac hose.

A hose off by the abs modulator.

A hole in a splice nipple.

A couple of hoses than were old and hard and leaking.

A good size leak at one of my intercooler couplings behind the bumper.

This beauty, some one did not get the gasket in right the last time the head was replaced. Or maybe it was the previous head job.

And the biggest one of all. Still needs to be fixed. The boost controller lets a fair amount out as well.

When you are trying to get the last couple off cfm's out of a turbo every little bit helps. I tested it to 25 psi on the final check. Some goes out the valves, i just used the regulator to get to the test pressure.
