  1. AC was an option. You could get either here, with or without AC.
  2. I guess they could be set up as side marker lights but on the european models they're set up as side turn signal lights, flashing in sync with the front and rear turn signal lights.
  3. I seriously doubt that he's running 8's upfront as those rims were never offered as a factory option in Europe. Seeing that this car is a german one makes it even more implausible as the rims would have to have been separately mentioned in the "fahrzeugbrief" (a document belonging to the car mentioning every little part that is "not-original") Just to give you an example, even if you'd want to change the steering wheel to an aftermarket one, you'd have to have that mentioned in the "fahrzeugbrief". As far as the euro-controls for the AC, it's quite an "on-off" affair. There's a small push button next to the heaterslider that does little more than switch the AC compressor on or off. The compressor is running at more or less a fixed load when turned on. As far as I can remember it's factory set to create a temperature difference between outside air and cabin air of 5 (or 7) deg's C.
  4. In US currency it would be between US $6.00 and US$6.50
  5. Thanks for the replies guys, Although the model does look quite good it wasn't/isn't how I remember it. I do remember it as being a full scale 3D CAD model; if my memory serves me right it was not more than say 3 years ago that I saw it here (somewhere). Depending on whether or not others remember where the thread is I may come back to you guys though. Thanks again. Kind Regards, DUTCHGPS
  6. Hello to all, After quite a long absence I'm getting back into the "Starquest" thing again. Starting off with a question, in the past couple of months I've still been checking the forum and I seem to remember that someone was making a CAD model of a Starion/Conquest. I've done all the searches I could think of but none of them led me to the desired result. Does anyone have a lead on the thread that deals with the CAD model of the car?? Kind Regards, DUTCHGPS
  7. I don't mind fessing up that you got me too. But I guess that the old saying still holds true that a deal that seems too good to be true usually is.
  8. Hmm, maybe a bit late in the game but how about making it a 3 piece airdam. Use the '88-'89 Conquest style and split it into 3 pieces, 2 corners and a middle piece. It will at least make for easier/cheaper repair. (I sure hope that all of you are aware of the fact that the carbon stuff can certainly crack and under adverse circumstances even break e.g. when it's cold) Furthermore I think it would be very nice if the corner pieces could be made in such a way that they could be attached to the bumper skin without having to remove the bumper skin i.e. the whole bumper a**'y from the front of the car first. Kind Regards; DUTCHGPS '82 Starion 4G63 '88 Starion 4G54
