Hey everyone It's been quite awhile since I've done anything on this board (on account of parting with my beloved Starion some time back) I'm cleaning the garage out since we'll be moving out of the house soon and I have 3 seats that I need to get rid of. Two of them are from an 88. Black leather and in decent condition,, aside from the hole in the drivers seat from constant entering/exiting. The other seat is from an 87, also black leather but the seat frame is pretty bent up on account that it came from a wrecked car, leather is fine though. I'll part with the 3 seats for $200. I also think I've got the chrome "Mitsubishi" and "Starion" tags too which I'll include. Let me know if your interested, I'm in Pittsburgh PA and will send some pictures if you like.

I remember when mine was 66K ...Guess I'll have to enjoy it at 84K ....speaking of the alternator...when do those typically poop the bed? i have the funny feeling my day is coming :roll:

Any pics of the tailights yet and would they fit on our cars? I'm looking to replace the tailights with something a bit more sharp. I'd try converting mine to Smoked/Clear LED's but I'm not too confident in my ability to do the job right. Anyone willing to sell a pair?

Does anyone know if the metal threads in the greddy shiftknobs fit right onto our cars? The guy at the car shop said that they fit all mitsubishi's but I wasn't about to believe him especially when he gave me the usual wt.... :? look when I told him what i drove. it was also 55 bucks, seems kinda steep but it is greddy....

how much different does it sound with no music coming from in front of you? I'm all for disconnecting the dash speakers, and putting some good pioneers n the doors and back with a bazooka tube dropped in the hatch. but if its going to sound weird with no sound coming from the front I might just suck it up and try the replacement. any thoughts?

i'm looking for an E brake cable for an 88 in good condition anyone got a spare lying around?

i had new rotors and pads installed the other day and started driving and kept on hearing noise when taking turns. Get out of the car and smell somethin burning. Take it back into the guy who did the rotors and tell him i think something must be out of adjustment. He comes back and tells me my ebrake cable needs replaced because the capilers keep on grabbing my real rotors. Assuming this guy isn't bullshiting me how much $$$ is this gonna cost??

try ebay and hope to find ones in good condition. if you do find a place to buy new ones let me know but i doubt you'll find somewhere

Does anyone have a spare rear wheel cap laying around that they'd be willing to part with?

Could anyone tell me the part numbers of the 4 little wires (specifically the 3rd one) that are lined up in a row to the right of the battery. They're different colors (red, green, ect) each about 2-3 in long. Came out of work today and car wouldn't start. All the lights came on but not even a crank, poped the hook and saw that this 3rd little wire had snapped at the neck right before the pronged plugs into the socket. I think all i need to do is order a replacement wire and it'll fire right up.

sry whats TDC and it might have been turned counterclockwise at a certain point...did that just totally screw it up? :x

just replaced the distributor cap and the rotor today, put eveything back together, turn the key and car won't start. Engine cranks but just won't turn over. Any ideas? :oops:
