I recently had a eperience with Parts geek I thought was worth sharing. I ordered an O2 sensor that their catalog insisted (with visual aid) was correct. Ha, not even close. I was then charged for restocking and had to pay for return shipping as well. In my protest I included the evidence that they were in the wrong. I was dismissed and not refunded the correct amount. I could find a phone number that would connect me with a real person. In short DO NOT BUY from Partsgeek.

Would you part with the throttle body assembly?
-
I need of an ISC/MPS assembly. Will consider complete throttle body. Must be in working order. Must fit 1988 Conquest. FOUND!

Do you still have the throttle body?

I am interested in the throttle body. Is the ISC operational?
-
I checked the ISC as suggested. It is open all the time. The tip does seem to be making contact. Also there are cracks in the wire insulation to noth the ISC and MPS. Where does one find one of these assemblys if it proves faulty?

Where does one post select problems (ie engines)? I went to that forum and was unable to post. Anyway...I work on my son's new Conquest and it has issues. It does not idle smoothly or want to spool up on any consistent basis. The hotter the car gets the worse it runs. I have done the ISC/TPS reset a few times. Set the timing. Replaced plugs, cap, rotor, wires and fuel filter (external). It has an underhood fuel gauge reading 40 psi but the fuel pump is very noisy. While doing the ISC reset, this item behaves very strangely. The first time it would not stop running. The next time it did nothing. The TPS is right at .5 V when it should be. Cleaned all the ground connections. Checked the injector clips. Swapped connections on the injectors to check if the secondary was functioning. What kind of a spray pattern should these injectors have? Two codes come up. #1 O2 sensor? and #6 ISC module? How do you prove these are faulty? I have poured over this website and tried a few things but I am getting nowhere.

Greetings Starquesters, I am the proud pit crew of my son's 88' Conquest aquisition. I will be asking questions in "Virtual Mechanic" as this vehicle has issues we are trying to work through. I look forward to your input. Real Nino
