You might want to call and see if these are in stock. A lot of vendors simply advertise parts for sale and if they don't have, they will try to see if they can find one. They may make up an excuse that it has to be shipped from their "other" warehouse in order to buy them some time. On something like this, I really doubt they have any. -

Yeah, it must be the same car. I do see some things painted red and yellow in the engine bay. -
Pics of my first Starquest...... the Unicorn

I actually didn't purchase it. It was given to me by my father, so even better! -
Thought I would just share some pictures of my first Starquest. See my introduction to learn a little about me and how I aquired this gem. I call her the unicorn because getting the chance to own one has always eluded me. When I had the funds to buy one, I could not find a clean example. And of course when one popped up for sale, I was no longer in the financial position to buy. Plus, it's white! Anyways, here she is. Its a 1989 Conquest 5-speed, no sunroof, and tan leather interior. Here she is the night I brought her home. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/Starion_1-1.jpg Sitting on 16in Centerlines. Have not gotten a chance to check width or offset. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_2-1.jpg Tan leather interior in great shape. And yes that is a factory bra in the back seat! http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_interior.jpg Trunk full of extra parts. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_trunk.jpg Stock engine bay. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_engine_bay.jpg My dad also gave me a pair of rare Euro tail lamps. Although I was under the impression that the eruo lights did NOT have the reflectors. You can clearly see them with the flash. http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_tail_lamp.jpg

For sure! Not sure I feel comfortable taking the quest out that far though. That is about an hour drive. I would probably take the wifes comfy CRV with nav. LOL.

http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/starion_2.jpg I have no idea what kind of suspension it has but the rear tires are tucked. I need to remove the wheels to check the width and offset. It has shp sized tires, 225/50/16 fronts and 245/45/16 rears. The front offset looks perfect. The rear could use a spacer but it looks like it would rub if it were any more flush.

http://i761.photobucket.com/albums/xx259/Talon4ever/Starion_1.jpg Here is a pic I snapped with my phone when I brought her home last night. I may be selling the centerlines. While they do look decent, I think centerlines look best on muscle cars. But the polished finish looks so good on white!

Yeah, my sister-in-law lives in Rosenberg so I pass through Sugar Land every once in awhile.

Just by driving the car home last night, I noticed that it does need a few things done here and there. A couple of things I noticed: Speedometer does not work Has one foglight out While driving, it starts to sputter and buck over 3000 rpms Injector clips need to be replaced Pulls left while cruising on the freeway (May just need to check tire pressures) Runs really rich at start up Needs a battery now So I definitely want to take care of all the little things first and get her running right before I start modding. But I am really not sure which direction I want to go. I really want to throw the G54B out. I tried to love it but I just hate the TBI setup and the single overhead cam. I really would like to do the 4G64 wideblock with the 4G63 head, but at the same time this car looks so nice stock.

Hello all, My name is Aaron, I'm 25 and I am located in Humble, TX. I am glad to finally become a member here. Like I mentioned in the title, I am not new to the Starquests. My father has owned about 4 or 5 of them throughout the past five years. Some of you may have met him. His name is Joe and he lives near downtown Houston. He owned a couple that were all stock. A couple that were mildly upgraded with hardpipes, exhaust, GM MAF-T, etc. And a palermo gray that was MPI with a big turbonetics turbo, coilovers, wilwood BBK, and 18in TSW wheels. I have been there with him every step of the way and we both searched this site to help get us through any rough patches. I always wanted a Starquest of my own, either black or white. Everytime I had the funds to buy one, I could not find a clean car that ran. And everytime a super clean one popped up, I was no longer in the position to buy. I literally just sold my subaru wrx this past weekend and I told myself that I was going to lay low, since I just purchased my first house last year. Well, turns out my father gave me a gift. Its a white 1989 Conquest 5-speed, no sunroof, and hard to find tan leather interior. The car is super clean! It has some polished 16in Centerline wheels that actually don't look too bad. The engine is stock except I think he said it has a 14g turbo. Anyways, he only had this car for about two months. He got it in a trade from a guy named Noel. Not sure if he posts on here or knows him. But know she is all mine! I am at work and photobucket is blocked. As soon as I get home this evening, I will post some picks of this beauty. But for now, HELLO TO ALL! PICTURE BELOW!
