well since the thread subject has changed :hmm3grin2orange: i sold a 69 barracuda and got into the quests'. funny A? i bought it from the original owner. it was a 6 cyl. car, but i had a 400 stroker in the works :ylsuper: i should have finished that car, back halved it would have been bad butt.

Plum Crazy 70' Hemi Cuda Auto , now that's the ticket :thumbsup:

Hahaha this is my car and thats my dads mach 1 in the back, if you look in the garage you can see the back of a red Shelby Cobra kit car. i kow my asking price is realy high but i got 1500 out of my non running 87 quest that was in great cosmetic condition but didnt run (friend cut all the vacume lines and fuel line when pulling the engine w/o knowing where they went)

Where can i get injector clips and how hard are they to switch out?

Four wires cut & splice Best to solder & heat shrink wrap. If you have the skills & tools easy as pie. Not a lot of skill involved.

 

I do not have a link to the INJ Clips for you but I will find it.

8.00 replacement OEM fuel injector pigtails from Autozone. Have them look up a 1998 Chevy Lumina injector connector.

Hopefully Autozone is near you or any parts house should have that application.

that is a bit hi i almost picked up this car for 500.00. why you selling it so sooon you only had it a couple weeks?

ya i picked it up for 475 and the ppl thought they knew alot about cars and said "right" and "that" after every single sentence. But they didnt maintain it very well the and didnt mention anything about the real condition of the car we got there and were like "uh what". Id honestly just like to get out what im into it from buying the car, new sensors and from the tune up, if i cant get it to run right or better within the next week or so i want to buy a good running and driving one for 3k or more that wasnt thrashed by the last owner. i only put it at 1500 since i got that out of a non-running 87 Quest that had 236k miles a year ago, but id take half that and be happy.

no not yet i think he said he might be busy this weekend, i sent him a pm with my number but no reply, i found a new problem while trying to do the TPS/ISC reset though in that my ISC servo/motor got a disconnected wire (black/red stripe i think) sometime during me trying to get to a tool i dropped so now it will start and go to about 200 rpms then just die and the screws holding the servo in place get stripped out on the first turn of the screwdriver so idk how to get it out to get the wire back in or put a new one in.
