Power Drain / Electrical problem 85.5

So i have some sort of electrical problem.

When i bought this 85.5 i knew there was some sort of a rat's nest. Turns out the rat/mouse/mice ended up chewing on my wiring to my door switches+dome light+rear defogger+radio antenna and god knows what else.

So in the photo above you can see what im talking about. This mess i was able to patch, however the other switch i had to replace then splice in.

Now that ive fixed all that, i ended up trying to figure out why my right side speakers weren't working. I figured that got chewed up also, however it just turned out the radio had a bad tape-deck, so i wired in my aftermarket that has a RCA on the back for me to plug my ipod into. WORKED Perfect.

However, i ended up turning up the bass, and the LCD on the radio started twitching like there's to much current or not enough juice.

When i turn the hazards on it really freaks out. Is this because i didn't ground the radio to the chassis like in my 88 ? or is there really something screwy that im not aware of yet.

Ive changed the battery cables, and cleaned a few grounds. The thing that really get's me is if i leave my door open for say.... 15 mins ill go back to a dead car. Not enough juice to start the car

If i crank the car for 20 seconds give or take, the battery goes dead. If i leave the hazards on for more then 2 to 4 mins the battery goes dead.

So....Any ideas ?

I have tested 3 batteries.

Had a dry cell battery that worked fine in my 88.

I also brought over a fully charged battery out of a running 87.

And the one that came with the car was dead when I bought it, charged it and put it in my pops 87, his car started perfectly.

The smaller battery in my 85.5 just can't crank/hold a charge, and my dry cell has high cranking power yet its so weak and won't last.
