4k RPM Stumble/Misfire

Intercooled 86 flatty with blowoff valve and automatic, has a stumble around 4k and cant get over. Its fine in park or neutral and can rev up, just not in gear. Throttle body, is rebuilt, new coil, new distributor, new plugs, new wires, new fuel filter. Only thing is the injectors have not been cleaned, but everything ignition related has been replaced.

How is your TPS?  Also I am thinking injectors like you.
87 Starion, Palermo with Black Interior 5-speed. (Fix everything Fanta Broke)
88 Conquest, White with Maroon Interior 5-speed. (Bought with Seize Engine and hasn't been touched since)

TPS has been reset. What would happen if you ran the wrong injectors like out of a 86 widebody or something? I have a spare set of J injectors that im gonna send out to get cleaned.

H and J injectors are the same, actually the same  from 83 to 86 no matter what model just the 83s are hard wired and only work in the 83 throttlebody but the nozzles for all those are the same.

So a flatty takes two J or to H injectors?

or one of each it doesn't matter they are the same

What spark plug you using and what boost level are you at when that happens?

I was told they are the Bur ones the correct ones. And at full boost.

It is like 8.6 psi. Could a crack in the exhaust manifold cause it? I also have puffs of white smoke on start up.

So when I unplugged the map sensor the misfire went away
