starquestG54B Posted September 21, 2010 Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 yes you can but you would need to weld them or moddify the brackets on the inside of your orig seats first. thats if you dont want them to be adjustable up or daown! if u want them completely adjustable then you would need to heavily modify your orig seat frame first by taking the mechanism out of a 88-89 seat and trying to fit them in there. welding would be required for this though. i hope this helps and good luck with mod Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
19cturbo Posted September 23, 2010 Report Share Posted September 23, 2010 if you have had the back of the seat off your 87 you will see that the 87 headrest bolts in, you can simply drill and tap the bottom of the post on the 88 headrest and bolt them in, thats what i did on my 87..
