Finally found a starquest here in Wichita! I purchased it a month ago for $500. It had sat for a couple years after overheating. Tore it down to the block, got the head rebuilt, new gaskets on top end, rebuilt TB, back flushed injectors, new injector clips, fuel pressure gauge installed, egr and vac lines deleted, cats gutted, new coil, plugs, wires, and new vac advance. Fuel pressure dropped on boost, and fell to zero when car was turned off and a pinched return line only increased pressure to 50 psi so a new walbro 255 and 953 install kit is on the way. Ready to get started on fixing rusty rear quarters.

I've built a few first and second gen dsms, mostly awds. Since I am more familiar with the 4g63 I purchased a wideblock 4g64 that I can build for the conquest. I love the quests g54 torque but mpi and availability of parts (in my garage :) make the 2.4 4g64 a good choice for me.

Thank you starquest owners for helping me get the car running strong. I don't post much because most questions have already been answered. I'm on here everyday searching for the next thing to make my quest run better. I've built turbo engines for years but this is my first rwd and I couldn't think of a more awesome car! I'll keep you guys updated with my 4g64 build.
