strang3majik
yea ik that but i dont understand how they can make that into a short throw like it dosnt look like theres much to it its all in the way the leverage and all is designed. Simply a bigger or smaller angle of the internal parts and it makes your movement of the shifter half the throw to do the same thing. slowquest
I picked up a couple of these, I've installed one. I love it! I've driven a fellow SQ'ers Stedebani short shifter equipped car and must say I like the Mookeeh shifter alot better. It seems much smoother. The only complaint I have is that it needs just a little bit of a bend in it similiar to the stock shifter. Having it in 2nd or 4th gear feels a little wierd because it sits about an inch further forward than stock. The shifter base is a piece of art, I hated having to cover it up knowing it would not be seen again. Feels very tight, absolutely no "slop" while in gear. Just a very little bit harder to shift due to the decrease in leverage, but that's easily dealt with. I will eventually install one of these on each SQ I own.
