silkdagger05 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 so I have spent week end after week end since I got this car working on it. lmao ,(TSI). and I am almost done getting her completely restored (just a bit better than stock of course ^^) any way i am driving out to Lazarus tsi's house and thinking yea It moves now ^^ I get on the freeway ( east at 13th) and pop first and second bov goes off and I look up in my mirror and there is this tiny corvette :character0285: do i wana see, I say to my self ? no i shouldn't, i say and let it get next to me I am doing 75 and in fifth, chillin ^^ any way it gets close its a convertible. silver real clean looks stock, now i told my self no ....but I cant help but eye it and wonder the guy in it looks older than me by far...and i think hmmm his clothes look nice too. I dont think this ones going to be a slower one ...( looked to be 05' -6 ? ) year,. any way he looks over and smiles and down shifts ( no noise from it yet ...real silent and i think that's not right...) and he pulls a lane away , and punches it .... :kowtow: omg....it popped my ear drums and he burned out full on at 80...wt....? turbo on his car is so freekin loud(waste gate?) !!!!! i couldnt hear mine ( yes i did it I punched it . why? cuz I BE addicted to boost now....) and I am at 100 now and he just leaves me like I am not moving at all has two bus L by 6 seconds in. i didnt even hit fifth again.wow sts ftw. eh? so yes I lost i think the worst time ever i didnt even stand a chance ...wow. any way nice car. silkdagger05 Posted August 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 What all do you have done? 1. full tune up, replaced and maintenanced most of the car. 2.bov 3.stage 3 clutch kit 4. 2 3/4 ex / basic performance muffler (nothing special)(good for up to 300-325 hp) 5. industrial 12a (slightly bigger than stock) 13psi / a down pipe. 6.new radiator 7. tb rebuild ( today ^^ ) 8.intake 9.some lightening 10.deleted jet valves (entirely) egr valve is gone, 2nd air dam is gone 11.new head. 12.no power steering no air compressor (air conditioning lmao ) 13.all new brakes 14. new spark plugs, wires,msd coil, battery. a friend tho is offering me a race engine for it , built from scratch to handle 30 psi constantly, all internals replaced ect. no mpi but has three injectors in the cross.
