YEAH after many hours of blood sweat and tears. . . it lives. I never thought i would be so happy to get a car on the road as i am with this one. I still need a few things like injectors(4k wall ) and water pump and a lil clutch work but its on the road. Really i am happy that i picked this car even after all the work and the stuff still wrong its great. I just had to post and get that out there also i wanted to take the time and thank the man that really saved my tail on this car mike (19cturbo) he put in all the time and parts he could spare(let me use til i get my own) really thats what i love most about this car with everyone helping even people on here ever time i needed to know anything you all stepped up to let me know. So this just a kinda thank you to everyone even harry for seting me up with my first starquest. Thanks cody

He pretty well covers all the facts on that one history and all. I dont think you could type in any keyword without seeing that car. All in all its not that bad looking.

ok yes i do know cops all over the area(i repo cars on the side so you get the cops called alot lol)and i have talked to them all. With the woman there is no way to get a hold of her do to the fact that she hasnt had anything to do with this car since 06 when she sold it and she is god knows where by now. Also i have never seen or talk to this woman that dose not live in this state. Next the vin is all over the place but it is an 87 they will not check all the vin if the car isnt reported stolen in the system which i have checked and it is not, Also i had a meeting with a lawyer yesterday and he more or less told me i messed up. With all that in mind i am left with a car that yes i have put my heart soul and any cash i can in that will never move due to a lil paperwork. So now i am asking everyone for there help to release the beast by finding me a clear vin plate. Plz that is all i am asking. thank you cody

ok see the problem is that the woman that had the car first sold it to a guy who signed his name as the buyer that he sold it to a person on here. That person sold it to me in that shape with the title(with the other guys name on it) a bill of sell(not noted) and a copy of the guys DL. That being said i have never even seen the guy that is on the title and the car isnt stolen so i dont want to trust something i have a lot of time a money in to someone i have never even talked before as all the people i talk to tell me to get him to title it than as him to seen me the clear one. The way the new dash helps me is by replaceing my dash plate with the clear title one and i can tag it. Idk how they do it where you live but they never check vins here.

OK i am first off not pointing any fingers let that be clear. That being said i bought a car on here and the title is so messed up. I live in TN and they wont tag it or anything and mike(19cturbo)got pulled over in the car the night we toke it out to test all our time and hardwork. So at this point i need the new dash to get it taged so i can drive it. Thanks cody

I am in TN and $100 is alot better than what i was thinking. Also i can put it in and im sure that i could do the rest but thats alot of work and would take me alot longer than them. As for them being there idk i will look again but when we did there were none at all.

So as a few of you know i got a black 87 off of intercooledflatty i little bit back. Myself and mike(19cturbo) have been working like mad to get it on the road well lastnight was the first test drive off. In this i had a blast but as all great thing it still needs some very minor tweaks. Now the good part we got the looking for the radio hook up since its almost ready but the are none to be found. I was thinking maybe someone has ran into this before and could offer some wisdom or know bout what it would run to have a shop run all new. Thanks cody

Here in my town napa with to color mix spray cans idk if you have napa where u are but its places like that

well i guess since i was there its my turn to jump in this shotin match. See the thing that i think most ppl are missing is that it was late at night in an empty lot where only the three of us were. There where no hills no cars and most of all no KIDS in or around any of the lots we used at the time. That being said the cops around here do stop younger drives for low or no reason. I my self have been pulled over for having a head light out that was not out and the same bulb is in the car to this day. So you car get on here and say we are fools and the like but what you dont see is that in most of you alls younger days you were the same but the cops let you ride around downtown or whatever you town did. Here there is nothing you car do with out a cop showing up and in some cases useing some pretty foul words that "i wouldnt guess there mom would be proud of" . So dont come here and talk to some one you dont know like that. Mike is my bestfriend here and he will do anything in his power to help someone in real need. In my closing as he said were are a family in car ownership and at the end of the day you are all my friends. So no thanks so some id like to keep it that way! Cody
