Wheel weight????

Have no clue man, but I've got a full set of 8's and 9's sitting at my friends shop, no tires. I may just take a crack at weighing them tomorrow if he's got like a bathroom scale at his business.

Eh, our stockers are very light in comparison to todays wheels. Most of todays stuff is made of composite material, very heavy alloys all meshed together to make a wheel. Some, but very rarely, are made of all aluminum. You'd have to buy a very expensive set of Japanese aftermarket wheels to compare to the weight of our stockers.

EDIT: Let me put it this way. My friend had a set of very expensive Volk Racing wheels at his shop, they were used in a Nissan Skyline, I picked up the 17's and 18's, no tires and they felt similar in weight to my 8's and 9's.

Thanks guys, wow, that's light. I know being 16" in diameter helps but we have some light wheels. Good to know for those who intend to go aftermarket. Our cars may handle differently or be slower with larger wheels.
