  2. 1987 white Conquest for sale. Rare Chrysler Conquest otherwise known as a Mitsubishi Starion. The basic of the car is its manual transmission with the 2.6 G54B turbo motor that was rebuilt a few years back and has less then 5000 miles on it. The interior is rough the rear seats look really nice though. It runs strong like no other, I promise after you drive this thing for a few min you'll fall in love with it. I have many upgrades and man hours into this car. My plan was to make it a road race car to take to the track , that's why you see the trunk missing interior. I've also removed the AC and the power steering to save weight, but I have most of the parts to put it back. I've probably removed close to 200lbs from the car making it weigh less then 3000lbs. Before the rebuild and upgrades it was dynoed with 179HP and 234TQ @ 15psi with the stock turbo @ the rear wheels. It has more than that today im sure. It is a fun quick little car, 0 to 60 time is around 6 secs depending who drives. It is not current on the registration and has been sitting for over a year. Ive recently gone threw everything and checked to make sure everything is in working order the car runs great and compression test @ 150psi on all cylinders. I just did the oil change and its ready to go. DON'T LET THIS PASS YOU BUY........... LIST OF UPGRADES AND REPLACED PARTS.   4. Problem solved ............ finally. After replacing every part known to a station with Kelly on sat we didn't figure it out. So I just figured a mouse chewed a wire somewhere. I just looked at the wiring diagram for the car and followed the injector wires all the way to the ECU and bingo. I removed the RT fender and saw the damn rats made a nest in the frame behind it. they chewed right threw the secondary injector wires and thats it. I repaired the wires and put it all back together now it runs like a champ. Thanks a lot to Kelly for all your help, I would have been still working on this thing for weeks.
  5. I checked and rechecked the IC pipes and the IC itself and still the same problem. The voltage is good, I am running out of options and Ideas here.
  6. I have tested the vacuum advanced and it tested good. I dont have a wide band but i do have a air fuel gauge and it leans out when i put the throttle down so its not stuck open and i just replace the plugs and wires gaped them and they are all good to, I also disconected the ICS motor. still the same issue and nothing helped it at all. So now im thinking my 1g mas is bad or something between the secondary injector. any other input or ideas of what else?
  7. problem still not solved. I thought it might be the distributor malfunctioning but i was wrong. I replaced distributor and still the same problem. any other ideas im still not sure what it is.

  9. I drained, dropped the tank, replaced the fuel filter, put some fresh 91oct, and still the same thing. any other suggestions that I can check. There was no improvement on doing anything. Is there a way to check to see if the seconday injector is even coming on? I have 12v going to the injector clips but im not sure the injector is opening and closing. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
  10. ok Ill replace the filter and clean the tank.. that would be awesome if that was the problem and i just overlooked it. and @ trustconquest I don't have a 88 ECU to test it out but I thought that might be it to. ill try the gas thank first before I shell out more money for an ECU unless you know someone that will let me test one. lol
  11. Ok im going to describe the problem as best as I can and tell you guys what I have already done. First it is an 1987 conquest and it has been sitting for over a year. before I parked it, it ran strong on the newly rebuild motor. when I went to move it to another place it fired up with no problem. when i press the gas full throttle it will not rev up but sputters and wants to die on me. If i give it a little gas slowly it will rev up to about 3000 to 3500 rpms and cut out. The car will drive with no problems if i keep it under vacuum and dont boost, it will notboost at all as soon as it hits 0 on the boost gauge it will cut out until its under vacuum again. as long as i dont romp on the gas and keep it in vacuum it will drive. Im certain it has to be a secondary fuel problem. I have trilogy injectors, walbro fuel pump. It seem to me that the secondary injector is not firing. things ive done and checked. Ive replaced the TPS sensor and made sure its at .50 drained and cleaned fuel tank and replace fuel filter replaced IAC valve Check the injector pig tails both injectors work fine as i switched injector clips and the car runs fine with either primary or secondary injector. replaced the coolent temp sensor checked all wires and plugs cap and rotor as they all have less then 5000 miles on them cleaned and lubed distributor. timing is @ 10BTDC vacuum advance is in great shape all vacuum lines have been check and all were replaced with the rebuild less them 5000 miles ago all turbo lines were tested and all hold pressure swapped out FPR even though its fairly new. Nothing I did made a difference it still does the same thing. Please anyone with some info that could help me out to solve this mystery give me some guidance of what it could be. ive spent the last 3 day on this thing and its driving me crazy.
  12. Im am located in Hemet CA. I am going to meet on sat night from 9pm to about 11pm behind IN_N_OUT Burger. This will be a weekly thing. There is always a ton of cars out there and im tired of seeing Hondas and Fords (90%of them). Please if anyone will come just to hang out and have a good time would be cool. Its time to change it up out here and let these guys know what a real car is.
