  1. Ummm... now that you ask, it works pretty well! we do some cast parts for the military. we do alot of gun parts. i was going to do my moms valve cover but i couldnt stay up long enough friday night to degrease it, beings i wake up at 2:30am to be at work at 4 am on saturday. but i got one valve cover lined up. and more to come
  2. wow alot of intetest umm we do a gold color haven't seen copper around and for glossy black be easy I can put a mirror finish on it if I leave it in the bright dip long enough. I'm trying to approve it still I'm sure it would be cheap if I did it on saturdays after I got off work and not on company time . but the parts would have to be free of oil residue.

  4. lol I guess you crapped on my parade ya it's my moms car wjen she got it she drove it 40 miles befor the water pump housing exploded literally , her boyfriend flushed the systemand put a new water pump in it but no coolant I think when she got it, it had no coolant in it. Confirmed this is a new head with a little over 1k miles on it. So I think the detonation was due to it overheating but she said it never got really hot sorry for the long replies with horrible punctuation and spelling I'm on a palm pre and I have fat fingers lol

  6. Well im just fishing to see how many of you all would be interested in anything you have aluminum anodized. I got a job at a metal finishing awhile back and we specialize in nickel plating anodizing random things many assorted colors/sheens blue red violet teal blue green dark green a dark earth color. if any of you are familiar with leupold scopes we anodize all of there scopes/custom scopes i do personally.

So from the knowledge ive learned about g54b's from my quest my first assumption was cracked head. so i got the motivation to pull the head after work. i pulled the carb off and there was a pool of water in my intake manifold. so i figured possibly the intake manifold was cracked. So on to finish the job i pulled the head and i didnt find any very noticeable flaws in the h/g but around one of coolant passages it was eating away into cylinder #3 but didnt look completly through to the cylinder. ill get pics up asap of that. But as well there is a minute crack in the head on cylinder #2 like always between the int and exhaust valves. i just really dont know where to go from here. the head seriously looks brand new theres hardly any carbon deposit on the exhause side. so my question is how often do aluminum 2.6l int manis crack or just crap out? or is it more likely the hg. Ooo as for vehicle/head its a 4x4 montero the head is a jetvalve head with hydraulic lifters
  8. ...bro i hope you know im 16 yrs old lol i know what you mean though...im not the 16yr old that dose a hack job and ruins the car before ive touched it! lol.... the previous owner to my starion wasent the sharpest 18yr old tool in the shead and i have to do alot of cleaning up on my starion :evil: ROTFLMFAO pwnt... yeah i was that kid at one point in time i didn't realize how much upkeep these cars are. ive learned alot from the sqc community. they taught me everything! so thank you everyone who is involved in SQC
  9. no problems with the tranny that i know of lol i did drive the car well the donor starion when it had this motor and tranny in it, no one at the towing yard i bought it from could get it to run lol had bad plugs, needs a push button for the start function unless u know what wires you have to jump for the start to work with the key, and i forgot to mention the taillight is broke out just on the corner this car is a project car its not gunna be just get in and drive it needs some stuff to be a daily driver my address is 1936 sw fellows st McMinnville OR my cell is 503-560-3387 if i dont answer leave me a message. i have my phone on silent
  10. how far is eugene from salem? im 22 miles nw of salem well west pretty much so id say 100ish? miles at the most id drive it that far if it had tranny mount and insurance
  11. lol yeah im sorry i dont live in vegas!!! id love to see this car go to the sqc community before some 16 year old gets it who has no idea wt.... there doing!! if i wasnt in such a bind id fix it up n use it as a Daily driver but im broke as hell

  13. well i bought this car like 3 years ago as an automatic, the motor seized so i swapped the motor and gave it a tranny swap as well. like 6 months ago it had a running problem it ran rich untill it warmed up, someone mentioned ISC but it turned out to be a temp sensor, well got that worked out, now the car cuts out at 2500 rpms under load the motor has 112k on it chassis has 150ish, still needs a transmission mount made and some gear oil in the tranny, this car has just been sitting for awhile now it needs to go has some 85.5 rims on it got alot of spare parts, 2x hoods one has a homeade fiberglass hoodscoop, a mech head, maf and all sorts of stuff, id give the interior an 7 out of 10 its clean rear seats are faded no rips front seats have tears on the shoulders near the doors but has seat covers. has tanabe tip, http://img524.imageshack.us/img524/7421/903670576lfk6.jpg
