make your own code reader

First you need some sweet wiring plugs and a l.e.d. like these...

wiring plugs two of them like these. I stole these off a stock harness but radio shack will have em too

Now connect the wires from the plugs to the buld like so...for this one i used a sweet surface mount L.E.D.

Then add some shrink tubing or tape if you like..

Now plug it in here...double click to full size the prongs are marked. You wanna connect the wires the are black and black with red stripe if you can tell the wire collors while your laying on your back looking up into the glove box.

It you dont get a light then switch the lead. LED'S are polarity sensitive.

 

Here are the codes:

1 - O2 Sensor

2 - Ignition pulse

3 - MAS

4 - N/A

5 - TPS

6 - ISC

7 - ECT sensor
