Blue
So a friend(and fellow StarQuester) are a little curious on this one. Pros/Cons/Why would it not be a good idea/etc.Any info on the stock lifter/cam setups would be awesome. And why you can't mis-match the cams with different lifters. SOMEONE on here told me that it would work fine, but lets get the general consesus here. So, for me, class is now in session. Learn meh som'in'. Indiana
Because you would have slightly less lift and why would you want to do that? Otherwise they are the same but hydraulic lifters on a mechanical cam would be more lift but it requires the hydraulic rocker shafts because there's no holes in the mechanical shafts to feed oil to the opening in the rocker arm that feeds the lifter. -you could drill them yourself if you couldn't find them The slot is cut out so it lines up with the feed hole in the rocker arm as it moves up and down. http://www.b2600turbo.com/images/IM000574.JPG http://www.b2600turbo.com/images/lifter01.jpg http://www.b2600turbo.com/images/lash02.jpg Edited August 12, 2011 by Indiana
