  1. don't ask why... I still can't answer that... weight reduction? based off the section I weighed on the scale in a plastic bag I would say the total amount of tar would be roughly 45 - 60 lbs if it were all lumped up in a ball. It's really easy to get off once it's HOT. Luckily I live in AZ so it only took a few hours in the driveway with the doors/windows shut to reach optimal scraping temp. If you live somewhere cold maybe hit it with a heat gun or something but the whole section needs to be hot... but not too hot otherwise it will be all melty and you don't want that... just hot enough so it softens the tar. I got a scraper and got under one corner and rolled it like a burrito the whole section right off. Took about 2 hours for the whole car LOL.. I know I'm crazy http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a298/starquest/4-2.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a298/starquest/3-3.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a298/starquest/2-3.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a298/starquest/1-3.jpg
