ok so heres a quick DYI D2 instal first remove the rear shocks: after jacking up the car on all 4 side and removing wheels.... disconnect brake line mounts and remove 2 bolts on the sides of the lower shock then remove the long bolt that runs horizontally through the sleeve that compresses on the bottom of the strut. I used a flat pry bar to spread the clamp apart then while having the top of strut still bolted i stomped on the hub to jar it loose once loose unbolt top and pull out then reverse steps for instal pretty easy only thing to note is rear D2 coilovers LEFT means passenger side and RIGHT means drivier side for the brake mounts. http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo42_zpsb89ed46a.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo3_zps38d815ab.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo4_zps0856d607.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo33_zps55dec6a1.jpg ok now the fronts which everyone hates doing because of the welding required take a sazzal with a metal blade and cut the lower strut about 1.5in from the hub http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo21_zpse66645af.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo31_zps7fcdf542.jpg next remove upper strut bolts and pull that crap out now for the fun...take a grinder and grind the paint off the bottom tube of your new expensive coilovers about 1in will do, then take a bit with a dremel that you can use to shave metal off the inside i took 2 inches off the inside and about 1/8 in all around to fit over the old strut because they come a little smal but do it till you can set the tube down right onto the hub but not to much slack as if you weld it crooked ur camber will be bad. once its all grinded install the new coilover with tube into the wheel well and bolt the top in. then take a floor jack and jack the bottom of the hub into the tube just enough so the old strut tube fits into the new one flush then make a nice thick weld around it http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo12_zpsccffc88e.jpg first time welder once u got your ride height adjusted in the front take out the allan bolts in the top camber plate and move them as far out as u can with still being able to put the 4 bolts back in and lower the car and check your camber thats pretty much how it goes nothing special just time consuming and for camber in the rear you might have to raise it back up a bit http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo32_zps0105db01.jpg http://i1072.photobucket.com/albums/w361/scottastic01/photo41_zpsd00dbe8d.jpg
