  1. So, Where does the 12V positive (constant) need to be hooked up to if they are both hooked up as you stated?
  2. Fellows, I have an issue: Everytime I start my car my stero will set back to default settings. It won't keep my station settings or bass/mid/high settings. It has done this since I've gotten the car. I have an aftermarket Kenwood deck and infinity amp. Where do I begin to troubleshoot? Thanks,
  3. Looking good man. I think the recessed/exposed head lights are going to look killer. I've always wanted something to install below the bumper to hide the gas tank. The rear diffuser on this car is going look good. The tail end of that Cuba looks awesome too. Maybe one day there will be a group purchase for tasteful cover for the rear of our cars.
  4. http://www.autoleathers.com/HTML2/AL.MAIN.FS.html These guys can do whatever you want. Perforated, smooth, custom, embrodery ect.....
  5. Okay Star V8, You gotta stop posting those pics, you know how much I like your cluster . I think I'm goint the speedhut route. I'm looking at the black faces and red lettering. I'm aslo looking for the switch indicators in black/red for the head light, fogs ect.... I like this aftermarket tack but I would rather have my stock working. http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/1103/10005820qn.jpg http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/5001/10005806ew.jpg
  6. These look identical to my rims and mine were custom made. These rims had to be the ones the design came from because they look exactly like mine. http://i1.ebayimg.com/02/i/05/0d/93/ef_1.JPG http://img458.imageshack.us/img458/8863/backrim2sj.jpg
  7. That's awesome dude . You should get this made into a sticky so the information is not lost forever. A 240SX brake booster is much easier to come by than a Quest one. And from your post drilling two holes would be worth it if you ever needed a new one. Good work man.
  8. I actually like the stock rims too. I would love to have some stock rims stretched and widened. I have 17X9 fronts and 18X10 rears now. The photos are for you star_V8_quest because I know how much you like my car  http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/9168/70wz.jpg http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/2315/34rm.jpg http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/2707/28hz1.jpg http://img395.imageshack.us/img395/1217/19yz1.jpg
  9. That would be great. I did some research on the net on it but I can't find much. I'm using a autometer tach now and yes I have an MSD distributor/ignition. I'm not positive where the signal is coming from but I'm sure it's from the distributor. I have a 93 Mustang EFI 302. Your dash set up is kick butt. That's what I orginally wanted to do with mine (I still might). It looks gooooood man. The HVAC relocation is a good idea too. I would like to do that to mine in the future. BTW: It's really hard to see that picture of the HVAC relocation (very dark). Thanks a lot for the help on this .
  10. Thanks, I'll take a look . I think I would be happy if I could get the stock tach to work with a V-8.
  11. Geez that looks good. Thanks for the pic. Maybe is isn't as hard as I think to make one of those. Do you know what material yours is made out of? If you get a new one made keep me in mind. I would love to have a similar set up made too.
  12. You wouldn't be willing to make one of those for me at a price would ya  ? I have thought about sending my cluster to someone who knows how to do this. I just have no idea of anyone who does know, lol.
  13. I can't wait to see what the lower rear (below the bumper) is going to look like. I'm so wanting something to put below the rear bumper. IMO I think it's the only thing that is missing fromt the Quest. I keep trying to picture something that would look factory. Or a diffuser, I think that would look tight on the Quest.
  14. Thanks Matt, Any answers for my questions above?
  15. Man you guys are the crap! You're gauge cluster is awesome man. It looks GOOD. I wouldn't want you to go through the trouble of doing that just for my sake. That's very cool of you to offer but I think I would feel bad if you did that just for my benefit. One question though. Were you able to keep all the factory warning lights in the cluster? Matt, What brand of 1-1/2 inch gauges did you use? I'm looking on the Autometer site and they don't have much for that size. Is 1-1/2 inch the size I need for the stock fuel, volt, temp & oil pressure? What size do I need for the speedo and tach? I was thinking the 5 inch autometer? Mike, Where did you get the side marker inserts from? Thanks all,
  16. I have questions for you masters of interior modification. I want to install Autometer gauges in my car. Much like Star_V8_Quest has. I have a V-8 Quest too. Do you guys thing it's possible to install these gauges in the stock guage cluster? Or better yet does anyone know of a place that can do it if I sent the cluster to them? Also, Can you change the color of the lights in the HVAC? And the rest of the dash? I read of some people doing this but I hear different versions on which LED's to buy and where to buy. I'm really new to this stuff so thanks for your patience :? Thanks for any and all input.
  17. That is insane dude  . What do you have planned for the rear? I have a V-8 Quest that I want dual exhaust on. I've been looking for something to cover the rear below the bumper to hide the fuel tank but something with dual exhaust cut outs for the pipes. Your project is looking killer man, I can't wait to see the finished product.
  18. You nailed that one. I'd be up for a rear diffuser big time
  19. You should not tease us like that  . Must complete and offer to community
