I left at 0440 EST and it is 2200 CST. Yeah trip was uneventful, but hot. I stopped for fuel in Texarkana and then hung out at Starbucks for about an hr to give the car a break.

2 meets and 3,445 miles later, I have walked through my door. LONG TRIP! It was good to see old faces and meet some new people. I don't even want to see what my final fuel bill is. I will tally all the stats in the next few days. I seem to get better gas milage on the way home. Perhaps because it is all down planet?

Highly unlikely that I would get there before 11. Im trying to leave Chesterfield by 7AM and that would put me there at 11 if I don't encounter any traffic. I'll PM you my number and you can text me when you guys arrive and I will see how far away I am at that point.

What is your ETA there?

I am coming out of Indy. I was going to meet up with the Wichita Convoy but after looking at different routes, that adds 2 hrs to PF and I would get to Lebanon, TN at least a few hours before they get there if they are on time. How many are meeting up in Lexington because that is where the best route would take me out of Indy?

Too bad. There are plenty around. Maybe you can find a good rolling chassis.

That's fine. I need to do some last minute stuff and start packing the tools.

I'm stoked. Car passed emissions testing today, got the tyres aired up with N2, ride height adjusted, washed and interior cleaned. All I need to do now double check everything, install the remaining turbo heat shields and pack for Branson-Pigeon Forge.

How soon? I am in Austin and can prolly help/teach you. I would have to run home first to get the necessary stuff. IT would have to be this evening as I leave tomorrow and wont be back until July 5th.

I go back to the Kolda days. Anyone remember MDSOG? Also when was the first big organised meet? The first one that I recall was the one in Englishtown, NJ in 2000 that was put together by BoostedYack. This was the first time I can remember anyone trying to meet on a big scale so I drove from Austin for this. I went in 2000 and 2001. In 2002 I went to Norwalk.

I need the location of said Hooters. I will be leaving Austin early to avoid traffic and heat so I will most likely be waiting on you guys.

I just installed my stock injectors again. Primary was serviced by RC and secondary is a used one. My idle is 900 RPMs and the AF meter displays 14.3 - 14.5.

105 in Austin. Currently it is only 97 @ 20:55
