I was hoping for another Texas meet this year, too. I was the one with Starion.^ dood , u get around A ?
i was the black guy wearing a carbon fiber leg
-
It was still and epic couple of weeks for my Starion. First Pigeon Forge over the 4th and then MOD the following weekend.
-
We rolled at around 1300 when the event was essentially over. It was a very disappointing turn out, SQ-wise. I did have a great time with those whom did show up and a really great time canyon carving with Tankbob and StallionProject 86.Just left from there. Didn't see any SQ owners to chat with.
-
Hopefully there is a reserved section for SQs this year, Im gonna try and make it there before 6 when the sea of evos rolls in
OK cool. I will try to get there around then, too. I'll be the one in the StarQuest There is an EVO from Washington state parked next to me at the hotel.

Heavens to Murgatroid! Dodge Caravan, even.
-
Rolled in this morning at 0730. Anyone have a top windshield trim piece that they can sell me? I lost mine in the wind tunnel at Palm Springs Oh and a left A-pillar, black.
-
I'm coming in from I10. I will check in when I can from the road.
-
Yes, please, post some meet up details, tentative plans.

-
This is less than 100 miles from me, so yes I am in.
Ugh! I need to coordinate a national meet in Austin so I don't have to drive! It takes me 6hrs just to GET OUT of Texas.
-
Not much of a daily driver...
-
I knew there was someone but could not remember who it was. I didnt include "road trips" or anything because I have a few of those, too, but were not StarQuest related. Ken pretty much has us all beat, tho! Keep them coming.

This was sorta brought up at PF. I have owned my '88 Starion since Sept. of '91 and I am the second owner and have about 284500 on the ODO. The farthest I have traveled to Starquest specific meet in my Starion has been from Austin to Englishtown, NJ 2000,2001 ~1700 miles one way. One year I did Branson and then PF when they were a week apart and that was ~1300 miles one way. Isn't there a member who still has theirs from buying it new?
- How long have you continuously owned your StarQuest?
- Current original ODO reading?
- Farthest distance traveled FOR a StarQuest meet DRIVING your StarQuest?

Grrrr! This car will be the death of me. The pilot bearing on the tranny apparently seized and wore a signifacant groove on the input shaft. Fortunately, I say fortunately I keep a spare set of feathers for in case such an emergency. Spare tranny installed. Just a few more things to troubleshoot (stereo amp) and some trim to paint.
-
Thanks! I will have to wait until I get back from PF to be sure. I might have to do a last minute work-related trip. I may have to hit up the Shat.

You should have no problem finding hotels nearby, it's close to Disney and Knotts Berry Farm. Just Google map the address and look for nearby hotels. Try not to pick ones closest to either Disney or Knotts, it's summer time and likely to be occupied.

Found a shop close to work. Just dropped it off. WHEW!!!
looking like jack stands get er dunn dood
-
I have most everything done except gettting a clutch installed. I do not have the facilities to do it. I am not comfy doing it on jack stands. Waiting to hear back from 3 shops that will do aftermarket. NO ONE wants to touch it unless they supply the parts and one shop wanted to charge me $350 for a "OEM" replacement. That is how my much my Spec 2 clutch costs. GFY! I want to be on the road my midnight Weds so I can be at the TX boarder when the sun comes up

its raining again
Oh no, my love's at an end.
-
I was feeling left out!!! I am used to getting a participation trophy for being in last place. in others gnus, I hope the weather clears. Looks like scattered rain all of next week.
-
installed camber plates on the fronts and hood struts. Next on the list is replacing the clutch, replacing vacuum lines, painting trim and wipers. Then go through and prep for PF and MOD.
