  1. Well, the car is up and running.  I really like this MAS: smooth idle and more power.  I have a ported TB that needs to be installed so I will make the change to 2 secondaries at that time.

I would say that if any of you see one of these for sale you should give it a try.

I will be at the TSC meet this weekend if it does not rain. :-/

Thanks Mike_K for the heads up on this one.

I will update the thread if I have anything new.

  2. Okay -

I got the MAS installed this weekend with the help of jolyrgr. (Help=he did it)  8)

Good News: The first thing I can see right away is the idle is smooth.  I can see no difference between it and the stock MAS at idle.

Bad news: the A/F gage is not close to the green at idle anymore.  In other words, I am looking at a fuel pump upgrade right away.  I know the stock one is not going to cut it.

I have not driven the car at all yet.  I have a very strong, low miles, stock engine that I don't want to lean out.  After the fuel pump is in I will update the thread again.

Cheers!!  (I never thought I would be able to use that!  Gotta love the internet and the folks on the other side of the pond.  ;) )

  3. How about something like these to help bring the StarQuest up to date:

I am with you on this one Jerry.  Chris at SOS is a great guy.  Here is a link to his car by the way... http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=16550

    I like this one too.

Yes, the car is fugly but the CF hood would look great on our cars IMHO.

  4. jolyrgr: I can tell you talk to IGot4UGot8 for some reason.  ;)  AND thanks for being the pioneer on this one.

ALL: Here is a IM I sent to MoMagnum.

Thanks for the tip on for temp gage.  Even with three diffesurs, sanding the top of the LED, and sanding the blue gel it is still a LITTLE too bright.  So, I am going to try moving them.

I have tried EVERYTHING on the stupid buttons.  What I found with the three different controls I have is that the button lights are really yellowish.  Here is why I know that: i put a really nice blue gel in the button window, I held the face plate up to a lamp light and it looked an awesome blue, when I installed the face plate I got a really nice GREEN.  I have tried everything under the sun (I think) to get the little button lights to glow white.  (Paint, gels, bulb condoms, new bulbs) No luck.  Darn.  This is not going to be so easy now.  Wish I was going for the green effect like Jolyrgr.

So, I went ahead and got 11 leds and have placed them where the lights used to be.  The only problem I had was getting them to fit and the fact that they don't glow brighter when I activate them.  No big deal in my mind because I still have the orange led for that.

I don't have a digital camera otherwise I would send you a pic of what I have.

Good luck and keep me posted.
