Expensive..dang..i just bought the car and havent been able to enjoy it yet. Lol. The point of getting this one with the new rebuiLt engine was to not have problems like this and have fun with it. Tinker in it some, but damn, stripped holes, possible warped exhaust manifold...what else? Lol. Sorry for the drama moment but this is frustrating to have happen.

The back part of the manifold does look slightly warped now that i think more about it. Certainly not flush with the surface, but the bolt is removed. The 2nd to last top bolt might be a problem or warped because it looks slightly off the surface bit the bolt is tight..sort of. If manifold is warped, any better replacements oem or aftermarket?

Looks like the turbo is supported by the front studs. Back supports nothing. No catylic, just the pipe from the turbo, no hangers from the pipe or supports. Surprisingly, the bolt is good. The hole is the only thing stripped.

Tightened and let it idle, no oil leakage, but i didnt drive it so cant tell if it stopped leaking. I'll drive it when i repair mu exhaust manifold stripped bolt hole issue. And i didnt see copper gaskets when i looked at the lines just a washer

This is the last hole and nothing is supported by it. The next hole up I fear is stripped, too. I hope the front hole and bolts stay good because i dont want to take off turbo.

Last bolt hole that secures exhaust manifold is stripped. Is this common in these cars? Is tapping a slightly larger size the best thing to do? The tap size for it now just slides in, so I need to go up in size. Thanks for any help.

Not sure about options be he has a lot of parts for it with a donor car. And i agree, new cars are bland and lack any thought or creativity in the design. Those tin can smart cars are a joke.

I think it looks like a leak from the eyelet area.

Not sure where its leaking from, puddles of oil on the cooler, hard to tell. Should all be new and not re used.

It looks pretty decent but a lot of work.

Wipers work, but the intermittent does not. They get stuck or start to wipe, then quit, then try to wipr, get stuck, then wipe, get stuck.... Is this a relay issue or wiper motor?

Oem or aftermarket cooler? I have oem with aftermarket lines right now. If unit needs replaced, too bad I can't get it done before the upcoming car shows...Just have to wipe off the oil and hope its not noticed.

i will take pictures when I get home tonight. I don't know who made the lines, they were on the car when I bought it. I can find out, though.

For a larger judged show coming up, I originally had it entered in modified, but I was told to enter it in import since its not a fully modded out car. Well, now I'm in with a possible Ferrari (saw the last years entries.) in imports, so, yeah, that will suck, but then again, I've seen more ferraris around here than Starquests, and that will be to my advantage.
