  1. Turns out that while they can be found online for super cheap nobody seems to actually have them. Inquired about them with several suppliers and they all said they were actually unable to get any to me. It's actually the first time I've had any issues getting parts from a supplier online so far though.
  2. I am looking for synchronizer keys and springs for a 1987 5-speed transmission. Part number Md701897 and Md701766. These can be found for super cheap online so mostly I am hoping someone just has them laying around and no longer needs them so I can save $4. I will pay shipping of course. Email response to sandmaster29@gmail.com please. Thanks!
  3. I am looking for an old spoiler. As long as it isn't completely trashed, condition isn't a huge concern. I want to see if my brother and I can fabricate our own aftermarket spoiler for a Starquest project we are working on right now, and I want a spare spoiler to experiment with so I still have the original if anything goes wrong. I don't want a brand new one, or really even one that is in great shape as there is a good chance it will get ruined. Save the nice spoilers for actual use. I'm not wanting to pay anything over $100, so if you have a rear spoiler you'd let go for about that (plus shipping) please let me know. -I love the duck bill spoiler as much as anybody, but I saw a pic of someone with an F40 style spoiler and I want one. --Alternatively if you know of an F40 style spoiler that fits these nicely, please let me know.
  4. According to the Rare Parts post in the Newbs forum a set of side Louvres will run you around $200. Mine came with them, that seems to be the best way to get them. Rear set as well.

    1988 ESI-R Rebuild

My brother is rebuilding my 1988 ESI-R while I am on AD for the Army. Bigger turbo (gonna run it at 10psi for now) and a 5-speed out of an '87 are going to be added as well.
  6. From the album: 1988 ESI-R Rebuild

This was originally posted for $65, but it was missing the inspection panel and release fork so we got it for $30. Kid wanted $350 for the air dam in the background and even after being shown that we could find them brand new for $240+$80 shipping he still refused to come down in price so we walked away from the air dam. Tranny seems to be in good shape, a rebuild kit and missing parts are en route. http://www.starionpa.../bodyparts.html
  7. From the album: 1988 ESI-R Rebuild

1970 Ford Torino 500 in the background, my brother's project car of 10 years or so.

  11. The power windows wouldn't roll down when I first purchased the car 2 months ago, the previous owner was convinced it must be the relay and gave me a new one. Just installed the new relay last Saturday, still no success. Are there any common issues with the power windows in the'88 models I can look for? With the nice weather here I'd certainly like the luxury of an open window while I am cruising around.
