About Me

I am a single father with full custody, a full time student, and general thinker. I was raised by my grandfather, going to the local race tracks. I have always worked on cars, and studied everything I could at car shows. My grandfather and I built a few cars together throughout my childhood. The last car we rebuilt was a 1988 Chrysler Conquest TSi. It was in great shape when I was about 15, but on the way back from a race in Rockingham, NC the Conquest overheated, no doubt due to the two after market electric cooling fans. We had a friend of the family do the major rebuild, as we knew nothing about Conquests, but we did the majority of the build ourselves. In 2002, midway through my senior year, my grandfather died in a quite horrific way. He left me everything, but I decided to split his assets between my mother, aunt, and uncle, as they were his kids. I decided to keep the tools, but gave my uncle the Conquest because he knew how to finish the build. Understanding he would keep it in the family. My uncle did finish the rebuild, with my help, I even found a few problems, and fixed them, that he did not know about. Shortly after that, in late 2002, my uncle sold the Conquest on ebay, for approximately $3000. I have been dreaming, researching, and thinking about this car for 8 years. Now, the man who bought it died, and never put the Conquest in his name. The son told us to come get it, or he will start charging us storage fees. So my uncle promised me that I would get it. Now I just have to save the money to go get it, and hope it is still in good shape.
