Welcome!
As with the Stig, some say these 'quests are Ferraris!!!
-
Well, I live in a fairly dry climate, parked my conquest as of November, in May tried to fire it up, cranked but would not fire up, fuel pump seized up, got a bosch pump, 4 weeks later after much leg work to get all the right fittings to work with the new pump, car is alive again, or at least the engine is(thanks Brazilboy, my bro), passenger rear brake is overheating, needs new brake master cylinder, all this from just being parked over winter? In about 2 months it will start to snow again! So cold(-40) and too much hibernation is detrimental to these cars, maybe I need to store it in Denver so it can be driven once in a while to keep it from braking down, and my 'quest is mint and well tuned and I take excellent care of it, definitely a dry climate Summer car with table top smooth roads!

full coverage on my x was only $75.00 a month threw usaa
Wow, that's cheap! I think it was in 1990 when I was all set to buy a turbo supra then I decided to give my insurance a call just before closing the deal, the insurance rate per month was higher than my would be payment! Ended up buying an accord LXi, I was so bummed!
-
I've driven LA and San Francisco highways, it felt like rush hour no matter what time of the day, it also made me stop complaining about Denver's traffic jams, you guys have it bad over there!
-
Evo X, your full ins. coverage per month will equal your monthly car payment!
-
Bill, 1 shot per thousand and its on me next Vegas meet!
-
My oldest son was just looking to buy an A4 or a 225hpTT, CARS.COM consumer reviews changed his mind!
-
are you using regular tires or anything in particular?
Today heading east on Vail pass I passed this F150 on fire, flames were already burning the dashboard, saw these 3 guys just sitting on this hill, 2 were watching the other one had his head down, felt so sorry for them, it looked like it was their work truck.

i appreciate the technical difficulty of the music, so there is a bit of appeal there - but imo there is nothing worthwhile in that awful sounding nonsense that claims to be lyrics. it is torture to hear and poorly written.
Not for everyone, one time the band got kicked out of this place even though they made it very clear to them about their style and what they were about days before the show.

Im impressed almost had a Devil Driver feel to it in some of those breakdowns with the heavy drum rolls and lower growl type singing.
I think its awesome and your sons killing the drums.good job with the change ups and breakdowns.id listen to it if i had album.thumbsup!
Thanks, it is quite different from the music I grew up listening to but now I like it, thanks for the thumbs up!

Very impressive especially for their age. I like the Deicide style vocals combining the low growl and the higher pitched "scream". Kick butt!
Yeah, its always fun to see them on stage, usually they play with 3 or 4 other bands and because they are so young no one really expects much out of them, I have fun watching the crowd and the other bands reactions.
-
Pretty cool sound. You know where I stand on the message. No one would want eternal life if they really thought about it.
Thanks, they have 12 songs and play about 2 or 3 times in Denver or nearby cities every month. Most places because of their young age are only allowed to come in, play, then leave right away. Still a long way before they all hit 21.
-
excellent, but i don't dig the growling/singing
Thanks, this singing style without the written lyrics is almost impossible to understand, especially live shows.
-
I like it. Except the screaming. And I listen to Cannibal Corpse... Instruments are EXCELLENT, but the vocals are kinda ish. The screaming is kinda just...beh, and the actually sing is very much generic "hardcore" music vocals. I think with more work, and a little more originality in the vocals, this could be a very excellent band.
Constructive criticism.
BTW, recording quality is very professional.
Thanks, they have a long road ahead as far as learning. Presently they are working on a new song with much heavier beat. My son Nick17 is the drummer, Ryan15 screamer, Nick17 bassist, London16 guitarist and AJ16 guitarist/singer.
We're happy with the recording, it was done by a 20 year old in his parents basement, about 18 hours to record it and we were very happy with the recording quality. Thanks for the constructive criticism, that's why I posted this for feed
back, it helps fine tune the band.

Sounds like you had a much better Friday than most, with those #'s you just secured a fun Summer for yourself! Good job

Here's some photos of it, used to belong to my son Chris, all original rust free Colorado car then he sold it and now Vegas is its new home. Glad to know it is being enjoyed and hope to see it again on our next Mesquite/Vegas meet!

See what you did? Now I'm itching to take my loud conquest over trail ridge and land down in Estes Park to scare away the elks! But first gotta wait for the snow to melt and be cleared!
-
This brings me memories of my sister in law, she came out to visit us and when she saw a herd of elks in Estes Park she wanted me to take pictures of her with the elk herd in the background, so I stopped, got the camera and there she was walking towards the herd corralling them against the lake! I am panicking because she's about to cause an elk stampede! I was more scared for her than she was for herself but I think she didn't realize what was about to happen! She blamed the thin air for her poor judgement!

Really bad
Bill
Yep! I'll be 50 in just a short few years and it takes me about as long as my conquest to get going in the mornings but the suspension still feels worn out rest of the day, just less creaky
-
Very nice! Where's the snow? I can't believe you guys are already getting some green patches of grass.
I won't be seeing green for a while, snowing pretty good right now.
I used to live in Cleveland, looks like your ride still rust free
-
Not much insects around here, but once in a while I do have to chase away a moose or a bear. Bears are fast! I think they could probably outrun a horse!
Lots of foxes and some raccoons. Mountain lions, we have them but never seen one.

I grew up in a small southern town in Brazil and there were some japanese immigrants living there, I still remember a sense of deep respect and sincerity from them, they were never intrusive, very respectful and kind.
This vast land could use some autobahns
