Hello everyone. I just bought my high school car (1988 Starion) and I plan on doing a complete bolts off restoration (or close to) and major engine upgrade. Center link or drag link, what do we do about this. I am in the process of doing the front brakes/suspension/steering and can't seem to find one. Are there any solutions for this?Rear struts; is racetep's solution the only one out there?
I have swapped engines, heads, and turbos but never rebuilt an engine. Any advice, I am looking at either rebuilding myself or buying a long block from racetep?
MPI; I am taken by the Hurricane MPI system as it looks to be a close to bolt on solution. I do have a background in electronics (an education I never used, I am a programmer by day). I am not to intimidated by going with a Magna and Megasquirt solution, however, I have a feeling that all said and done this will cost just as much as the Hurricane system. Does anyone have any input on cost, difficulty, and hp limitations on these two possibilities?
Turbo; I am a ways away from this but given my hp goal, is the T3/T4 turbo package at racetep the best solution. I am mostly using racetep because as far as I can tell this is the best website for the conquest in terms of adding performance. If anyone can suggest a better place please, do tell. Racetep was there when I was in high school 10 years ago and I am amazed they are still around.
