i would like everyone to know im not trying to knock the quest. i wanted one since they were new. this kid just bugs me with what he says. i never here him say he beat anything but a mustang, an most of his post are stupid.
i have a friend that loves his civic, i dont understand it but i dont knock him for it either.

im not rich and im deffenitly not a kid.
i buy my car buy saving money. i mod my cars buy side jobs and over time.
im not saying that mustangs are great, if you ever talked to my friend they would be the frist to say i talk crap about them.
mine is necked name the white piece of crap. but fox body are light parts are plentiful and the suspension is good for drag racing that is why i picked it.
so moral of the story, you want to post a win, fine but dont belittle the car. one mans junk is another mans treasure.

second i would hand you your a** with my mustang. yeah its a common car but it has it good attributes. i like many types of car i dont down someone for liking something else. i also have a elcamino too. I have had a mr2, supra, camaro, chevelle, impala, eclipse, and many others. so dont act like im some mustang nut.
ohh and both my cars are 20 years old.

First your and idiot to race in any kind of traffic. that is the stuff that make car enthusiast look bad.
second i cant wait till you actually race a mustang with a driver that knows how to drive. my car isnt loud ( in case you didnt know, it doesnt make you fast) and it will take you with out even working hard.
keep hating on mustang, there is a reason you dont like them.....

buy one and fix it up, then buy one that need next to nothing and see what one is cheaper. paying more up front to not be nickle'd and dime'd to death is a good thing.

already replaced, that was an old pic
I got me a plumbing 2" rubber hose in the meantime. I will eventually replace the entire intake, just needed something to replace that ghetto hose

I would, but right now I don't have any extra available cash, i'm basically looking for the extra room in the hatch area, or a 2+2 option. The MR-2 is really just too small for me. I'm looking to do a straight up trade for something comparable and considering the entire car is stock, and the motor was rebuilt not too long ago, its worth it to someone who wants a light sporty car that can be driven every day all day and get 34 mpg.
Or if anyone knows someone who is looking to trade for what i have, feel free to send them my way. i'd really appreciate it. Thanks guys!

definitely worth the price you are asking. i had one before the quest. the car was amazingly reliable and great on gas.

Southwestern International Speedway has a 1/4 drag open test n tune night every Friday from 4pm to 8pm. I run a drug-court group during that time so I can't make em regularly, although I am sure I could skip out one night if we got something together. It's 20 bucks, although if you buy a VIP pass for 50 bucks then you dont have to wait in line for runs and can get more runs in during the time, as opposed to waiting 45 mins in line for each run.
ill probably be out there, but i have yet to run the conquest and dont think i will. no real point in beating on it at the drag strip when i have something that is built for that purpose and does it alot better.
we have a few people going up mtn lemon tonight about 8 we are only going to windy point, hang out for a little bit then back down.

all i seem to hear is mega squirt. does anyone run anytime of big name aftermarket standalone system. i know in the muslce cars arena it is aem, fast, big stuff, dfi, etc. i know alot of these can be used on 4 cyclinder cars too. is there a reason no one use them, or is it just cost.
