i think it could be the MAF i checked the spark wiht one of those spark lights then i pulled the plug and it was wet wiht gas the plugs were clean and gap right no carbon on it what so ever

i went out to start my conquest it wouldnt start it cranks and cranks i checked fuel and spark its getting both of them but it wont fire dosent even sputter can anyone help

im confused about the whole 64 block 63 head stuff but i kno of a guy right now thats parting out a dsm wiht a 4g63 turbo in it and i might be able to pick up the motor for maybe around 500 the motor runs fine should i look into it more because it seems like it would cost alot more to rebuild the stock motor because now it wont even run when i go to start it, it fouls the plugs mainly, happens when the temp drops below 40 and the car sits wihtout running for 12 hours

well seeing im actualy starting to get stuff together for my monte build i figures i mine aswell start a thread. the project is not under way yet iim gather part and gonna do it all at once hopefully it will be done 4 the summer and all the car shows and cruise that come along wiht it body: im gonna do some body work when it gets a little warmer out then once thats done its getting painted the same two tone dark blue on light blue wiht a little more metallic. kinda looks complicated i think ill leave the stock auto in , im not to big of a 5 speed person anyways fun to drive but they do tend to get anoying if your at car cruises and in crap loads of traffic

nope srry just the intake my freind bought a edlebrock manifold for his his camaro so he just said i could just have the intake off of it because i was thinking about using it on a motor but plans fell thru

yea i think im just gonna stay wiht the 2.6 but how hard would it be to do a manul trans swap

i have a lt1 intake laying in my garage fuel rails and everything

as for the swap i think im gonna go price out how much it would be to build a 2.0 and get it in the car running wiht a reasonble amount of horse power compared to building a 2.6 and for tranny i would like to throw a 5 speed in it rite now its just a automatic

the 3rd gen montes do make some pretty nice low rider, once all the powertrain is done i think im gonna just do some body work and prime it black and leave it like that for a little so i can pull up to people at a light watch them laugh at the way it looks and then just blow their doors off then once im done haveing fun ill get it painted the lite blue on dark blue again if my step dad wasnt such a dumb a** i probly be rolling around in a 70 skylark or a 68 ltd lol, but the skylark was like perfect had a little dent and he ended up trading it for a pos motorcycle when i was 14 so he can learn how to ride :x , then the ltd he screwed the fuel filter into the carb to much and he cracked the carb so he ripped it all apart and was gonna put all new edlebock stuff on it but he for got how everyting went back together and i wish i knew as much about enggine as i do now i would have put it back together myself but i was only 15 and dint kno much you should post some pics up of all your rides on a thread STARION 1991 i live in warren michigan by the way

i was wondering how hard would it be to swap a 4g63 into a quest i see a couple people on her are doing it and i kno there kick a** motors but how much work would it take and what kind of tranny would u use

how hard was it to do the the 2.0 swap i was thinking of doing those things can make some reliable power

i like the r34s i like how the outer tail light are bigger then the ones in the middle

if your gonna tt it i would go wiht a non stroker v8, a 355 probly be your best bet if turboing, stroker v8s are ment to be n/a if anything running nitrous they cant hand to high of rpms for a long period of time
