cooljs78
Is my vacuum pump located in the front next to the driver side headlight? If so mine has a short vacuum line hanging that is not hooked up! I cant find were it goes and what it controls!?
mikec
The vac pump is for the cruise control. It supplies vacuum when the engine is running on boost pressure and has no intake manifold vacuum. The vac hose from the top of the pump should run along the front bodywork panel (above the grill) and then pokes through to the engine bay near the air filter box. It continues and plugs into a "T" near the gold colored cruise control actuator. mike c.
