DanMitsu
On a stock manifold thier are two sources for the temp,. the normal one pointing at you,. an the one lower,. next to the neck. of the thremo housing. thats why it spiked, becasue you only hooked one of them. probably the one pointing at you, toward the top of the manifold, next to the thermo housing. vb472
so are you saying that i can have both guages hooked up? i just touched the temp wire to the sensor that is on the water neck when it spiked. where is the other sensor?
DanMitsu
Just below it an to the left. the stock temp,.. is ran from both sensers on the intake. An the reason why your aftermarket spiked, to the end. was becasue it wasnt connected to the other temp senser. im not exactly sure why in the hell it does it,.. but it does.
