I bought it with the intent of restoring it but have never had the time to do it. The car does run but needs a tune up. The alternator has gone bad from several years of sitting but I have another one that goes with the car. Also going with this car are several parts from a parted out 1987 Conquest. The major spare parts are listed below. Here is what I know is wrong with it. Someone changed the fuel pump prior to my owning it and never put it back in it’s stock location in the trunk so it just sits there. The front air dam is broken, but possibly savable. The headlight panel on the left side of the steering column is broken and needs to be replaced. Because of this I can’t get the headlights to go down. The front grill piece that has the Conquest emblem on it is dented. There are rust spots on the bottom of both fenders and in front of both rear tires. There is a dent just under the gas cap area on the body. The right rear tail light is cracked in the lower right corner. The interior is in better than average shape with wear just beginning to show on the seats. The car is an automatic and is preferred by my drag racing friends over the standard trans. Here is a list of the extra parts – Manual transmission, clutch, and flywheel assembly and driveshaft.
