LazarusTsi Posted March 3, 2008 Report Share Posted March 3, 2008 well since my old clutch blew i had to replace it so i figured why not replace it with an awesome clutch kit. so my buddy sold me a stage 3 clutchmasters clutch and pressure plate for 100 bucks and installed it for another 100. when we pulled the tranny pieces of clutch material fell out, and when we checked the flywheel the pilot bearing was completely gone. so he also sold me a flywheel out of an 89 conquest for 40 bucks. he pulled the tranny replaced the clutch and flywheel and put it all back together in about an hour and a half. fastest clutch replace i have ever seen, and it cost me 3 times less than a regular clutch shop. this clutch kicks @$$, feels great when you press down on the clutch pedal and it engages instantly right off of the florr when you let your foot off of it. in other words.
