jpitty
I Have a car, 84 flatty, and a '79 302 carbed w/electric ignition sitting in my garage i was wondering what was needed to connect the too, i also have a t5 tranny. So stuff i know sorta motor mounts, what ones? i read 351w 1" drop for a stang Exhaust, that'll prolly be made at home straight pipe fuel pump/ or a really big regualtor driveline hoses What needs to be fabbed up? I am an apprentice machinist so what ever can be made probably will, because my boss will see it as experiencethat he doesn't have to pay for plus i could save money. So what am i forgetting? any info would be much appreciated my christmas list is begining here Jason
DVS_TSI
big thing to check into would be electrical. Do you keep the computer or can you get rid of all of it. MSD ignition? is it needed? Just kinda wonderin myself.
Star_V8_Quest
only computers you might want to keep is for the heat/ac controls.on my 87 widebody,i still have the computers that run my seatbelts and ac/heat.abs has been eliminated.cruise is not functional but can be hooked up.ac is also not operational but can be used if it was set up correctly.the electric fuel pump is gone...I run a carb but with FI you might want to upgrade the fuel system.and definately go with MSD.
