roman Posted December 18, 2005 Report Share Posted December 18, 2005 I had a 88 starion, I removed the wiring harness after purchasing a 87 conquest finding out there are some differences at the ecu, air cleaner and other wiring changes. I plan to change it out to update to 88 spec's and applicabe components from the 88. Has anyone completed this task. Also the alarm system seems the same but the system arms but following the book procedures will not disarm ???? DanMitsu Posted December 19, 2005 Report Share Posted December 19, 2005 Mine never worked either,. i had to use the pass door to unlock the car with. If i used the drivers door,. for somereason, while i was driving down the road the lights would start thier B.S. and the horn would start, i had to pull off to the side of the road, and pull the batt cables. Tim, and Pumped helped me when i was having all the problems when i swaped my wiring over. It didnt make sense and still doesn't. After time i quit messing with it, and used the pass door. Good luck.
