stoopideric
I am trying to get this 86 to run right. the best I can get it is with the dizzy pushed all the way down. A friend suggested that maybe the dizzy is 1 tooth off of where it is supposed to be. Is this possible? I am planning on pulling the valve cover tomorrow to check the crank to cam timing. jdh0637
Timing lights are cheap, sensing you don't have one with the comment "pushed all the way down" need to know what your doing to the timing
stoopideric
I have one...I will put it on there today but I am pretty sure pushing it down or turning it counter clockwise advances it.
stoopideric
Well I went to check compression and timing yesterday. After find 90 lbs. across the board on compression I skipped the timing since it needs a rebuild any way!
