suchconquest Posted November 12, 2010 Report Share Posted November 12, 2010 I've owned 3 StarQuests in 7 years, my Dad also owns one. I just have to share this. To make a long story short. US-19 FL and 1 year ago. Driving with a friend. 30th Anniversary Trans-Am WS6 (White w/ Metallic Blue wheels) rolls up next to me doing 45. He yells out the T-tops and starts revving hard. This thing is nasty (seeing his hood lift up when he nails it.) He asks me to race twice. I said no way I'll get spanked. My friend says to me, "Dude you've put so much time/money into this car, just go for it." Damn StarQuests. I told him 3 honks after the right turn (towards my house) 3 lanes wide nose to nose. I was giving it my all. I beat him by 5 car lengths doing about 100 past the local police station. (About 1/4m from the right) My friend sticks his head and hand out the window with 4 fingers and yells (4 cylinders!) True story. I travel between Crystal River and Pensacola just about every month and have seen a black SQ on 19 twice around Chiefland I think. Both times though I wasn't in my Starion.
