1986 Conquest 83,000 miles.... some rust

My 1986 Conquest TSI that I purchased recently as a project but I recently sold my other vehicle, now need to drive it every day and it isn't quite ready for that to I need to get something a bit more practical. Engine runs strong, turbo spools properly... seems to have a vac advance prob w/ distributer as it hesitates a bit under full boost and heavy load. Engine runs hot as the fans don't work as they should w/ the temp sensors disconnected. Seems ok if manually running fans w/ jump wire. Interior in good shape, center radio bezel missing... a/m radio works and is included... plugs in to wiring harness and works properly. Everything else seems to work as it should... shifts smoothly up and down through the gears... no synchro issues at all... nearly new cat-back exhaust. Can be a project car, not needing much to be a good driver, or a donor car with tons of working and good parts for another StarQuest. I'm looking for $1900 obo. I am located in Wharton, NJ.
