S.M.B Posted July 25, 2010 Report Share Posted July 25, 2010 i got a super homie hook up on a starion from scottygibb and told myself i was gonna leave this one alone and just drive it...but that didnt last long lol. i got the car with maybe 500miles on forged pistons, all arp bolted engine, marnel head(ported and polished), mild performance cam, down pipe and exhaust, but that wasnt enough...pulled the head off to weld up the combustion chamber to turn it into a kidney style chamber, tryin to get 10:1 with 20psi(not that crazy...we run 12:1 with 25psi on e-85 in my buddies drag car makin 1425hp),low compression is old school lol, i like instant power not spool up time... also buildin a t3 header for a 57 trim turbo. keepin the stock style intake for now, just porting everything out.i am having flanges cut for a custom manifold i wanna make with long runners but starting at the moment. ill post pics of the head up to show the chamber, should be done in 2-3 days. heres just 2 quick things i fabbed up real quick for the new car, did this yesturday in the shop. a filler panel and a cold air cleaner housing, will start the hard pipes tomorrowhttp://i570.photobucket.com/albums/ss142/lowrider01mopar/coldair.jpghttp://i570.photobucket.com/albums/ss142/lowrider01mopar/fillerpanel.jpg Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
