turbostar Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 I'm thinking of swapping in a 327 smallblock V-8 what I need to know is what mods am I going to need to make before I try and set the engine in, is there any welding to be done? the tranny , what mods are involved there. D_Venable Posted February 13, 2010 Report Share Posted February 13, 2010 engine mounts, tranny mounts, possibly the oil pan on the v8, fuel system (you going carb of fuel injected on the v8, they had different fuel needs) power steering pump(possibly) gauges, etc. the first 3 WILL require welding though Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
