  1. It sure is. Got a new toy on the way and need the space.
  2. Ok! So yes title says it all. Working on these cars might seem simple for most of you on this forum but speaking for myself a person who has NO knowledge on working on any car yet alone a Starion i can very quickly turn bad things worse. So what I'm looking for is for someone to work and fix my Starion. Change vacuum lines, fix the hesitation stuff, full tune up etc... I'm willing to pay for the shipping of the car anywhere and also pay for you labor. If you are interested or know of anyone who has the time to do this please let me know. You must have a good track record in fixing these cars. NO bullstinky! I'm also not looking to pro long this or have it take months! Let's make this happen quick. Thank you, Julio
  3. Yes vacuum lines look all original. Is there a place i can order them all as a kit? The distributor is where the spark plug wires plug into correct? Easier to just change it to a new one?
  4. So i finally got the car shipped from Ohio this week. Car drives but when i put it in second gear it kind of hesitates for about 10 second then takes off like nothing. When i put it in 3rd gear it does the same. Now i don't know anything about cars but to me seems like it could be the fuel pump or the injectors or MAF???? Any suggestions on where do i start? A few more things i have found wrong: Radio does not go on (Haven't checked the fuses yet) Head Lights do not go down Rear Hatch not good Missing Antenna (Just ordered one) That's it for now. This weekend i will check all the hoses and everything under the hood.
  5. Expecting it to be delivered by the end of this week. From the questions i asked before i purchased it the car runs good with no problems but you know how that goes.
  6. Need suggestions or any good ideas on what to do with this engine. Been browsing around the site and not sure if i want to keep it stock or make some upgrades. Please keep in mind i really am not a mechanically inclined. Any Ideas? 1985 Starion (5 Lug) Guess that means something also. lol
  7. You will be amazed on how much i purchased this car for. That's why I'm hoping when it gets delivered it's in good shape. lol
  8. It sure does. Got it for a steal. Just hope it drives as good as it looks. lol It's an 85 so not sure of all the goodies it has. Still looking up on it.
  9. Thank you. No i purchased it from a dealer in Ohio. It was listed on Ebay earlier this week. Title check indicates it was a DC car. Being shipped down to FL. Can't wait to get it.
  10. Hello everyone. Newbie here and just wanted to say I'm a proud owner of an 1985 Starion. This was actually my first car back in 1993. Did not last me long but loved it. Always wanted another one and finally the wife approved. lol I'm fortunate now i can afford the toys i always wanted. I'm also looking to purchase a Conquest.
