  1. Fresh rebuild. 1 hr total running (if that) maybe a mile road time. I noticed the rocker arms were a different color on the cam side. i dont know if they were always like this or not. Anyone ever seen this before?
  2. well i just found out that i was running a 3 bar map sensor on a 1.5 bar map. i couldnt find the map sensor that came with the fip so i ordered a new 3 bar. and now everything has to be re mapped. fml any clue what map sensor fip used?
  3. Ok so the truck is running with the rotated throttle body. Driving it today it leans out on accel. without even getting into boost. My question is could rotating the throttle body have changed how the vac. ports work? The map sensor is on the far right in the row of 3. The bosch fuel regulator is on the port at the inlet of the throttle body. (original location). Dizzy is on the far left on the row of 3. And boost gauge and bov are on the single port on the bottom of the manifold. btw i am running a fip setup with the new fuel rail and injectors.
  4. i only have the rubber line on there until i get or make a hard line. im just trying to understand where the heated water from the last 2 cyl. goes when the heater is closed. because that coolant comes out on the line that is not t'd.
  5. yes but where does the coolant flow out of the head? when the heater core is closed. not the line that is t'd off.
  6. i have that line going from the water pump to the heater core and intake. just like it would be factory except i dont have coolant running through the tbi only the intake. but where does the coolant go when the heater core is closed? that metal line coonnects to the lower part of the intake where i have it right?
  7. Here is my setup now with the rotated throttle body.the coolant line coming from the bottom of the intake is t'd off and runs to the heater core and to the water pump as it would normally. the line coming from the head that usually goes to the heater core and the throttle body now just goes to the core. Are there any issues with doing it this way? when the heater core is closed what happens to the coolant coming from the head?
  8. Does anyone have a diagram of the coolant flow path? i am just curious about a few things with my throttle body rotation. And i want to make sure everything flows correctly.
  9. glad to see you are still kicking shelby. i put the 2.6t motor in another mighty max and completely ripped out the stock wiring so i am good there. Funky- i found my old diagram/install guide. The wire colors changed over the years. thanks though.
  10. Who is running this system still or possibly has the harness they can look at for me? Ive had the system for years now pulled it out of my starion(wrecked it) and im installing it in my mighty max. I cant find my original install papers so i downloaded it from the fip site. Maybe wiring colors have changed since i got mine, because they dont all match up. I was really happy with this system when i ran it and dont have the extra cash to fork out on something else. If someone could help that would be great.
  11. no i didnt i saw it but i was not sure if that deal was going through " leroy" the guy who posted that. i didnt see a way to contact "leroy"
