Was reading some of the racing stories and it seems that weight plays a big role in racing Are there any ways to decrease the fatty (4000lbs) starquest to around 3000lbs but at the same time not decreasing the performance of the car? Thanks for any tips.

Well, I have large list of thing I need to do to my starion but for starters where is good place to buy: 1. Decent coil overs (cant afford expensive ones) 2. Sway/Strut bars 3. Brakes (pad, rotors, calipers?) Take in mind price matters too since i cannot afford to put more than $600-800 on all suspension upgrades. Notice, that these are all suspension upgrades, which I really need since my 87 starion is horrible in canyons and turns... For example, plenty of screeching of tires, bot of car hits the ground multiple times, screeching tires on on-ramps to freeways at 40-50mhp, screeching breaks, spin out easily (or maybe im still a noob at driving canyons), no stiffness at all in suspension.... Open to advice, tips, and help. Thanks.

Umm I am very confused on why some guys have and eci system compared to the stock injection system? Could someone enlighten me on the subject? Thanks.
