MI_Mitsu Posted June 28, 2010 Report Share Posted June 28, 2010 Had a wild thought about revamping the Bazaar section. Actually more specifically the parts wanted and parts for sale areas. We all know how hard it is to sometimes search through threads to find a particualr part. Wouldn't it be nice for sellers and buyers to simply access the PDF parts manual to find what they need or what they want to sell, click on an item number and then be presented with a pop-up list of people who have the part, condition, price and location with also maybe a listing date? You could then also click on a persons name in the pop-up to get their details, a general feedback, and perhaps a quick link to all their other parts for sale? Sounds a bit techie, but this could be a time saver in the end. This would also only really work for those stock factory parts. Aftermarket and upgrade parts would still require the current forum set-up, but what about further breaking it down then into something like: For Sale (aftermarket)-Body-Engine--Crankcase--Valvetrain-Interior-Suspension etc etc... the same would go for anything Wanted that is not stock covered by the PDF database. Anyone got the knowledge and/or time to develop something like this? We could also maybe get a Mitsu parts site to sponsor this with a quick link in the pop-up part listing with info to their site with new part pricing to compare to the used asking prices.
