Has anyone ever done a rack and pinion swap to a mustang 2 rack and pinion?

Finished mine 5 or 6 months ago and I canít seem to find any instance of anyone else doing this. Anyone know of someone thatís done this?

Yes I have a ton of pictures of the process but itís not 100% complete. Thereís one minor issue Iíve run into which was why I was searching for another instance of this swap to see how they resolved this.

Mustang II rack is front-steer, Starquest spindles are rear-steer. How did you solve that? I think that's the reason it's not commonly done.

Thereís a piece that bolts to the bottom of the spindle (not sure what itís called) which also has the steering arm on it. I just flipped it around backwards, slightly bent the steering arm down and reinforced it.

Gotcha. Have you checked the Ackermann geometry after doing that?
