hello everyone i just want to share my adventure. I have an 87 starion ive had it for a couple years now. about 8 months or so ago i got the itch to try something different. so i took the sawsall and literally cut the center section out of the stock intake i made a steel adapter that kind of resembles a "cow bell"  with a flange for a 4 bbl carb on one end. when i first set the car up i was running fuel only with the stock ignitor and knock box, i wanted the fitech to control the timing so i have got that done now im still tweaking the tables but the car is up and running i have a couple videos on youtube if anyone is interested or intrigued i will try and get pix up late

here you can see ive ground off the coolant passage and removed the area where the factory coolant temp sensor goes, i had a local welding shop weld up the hole left over. best 20 bux i spent haha

here is my square peg booted to the stock intake i also had to retap the coolant port for a gm temp sensor
so the fancy carb hat didn't work out hit the hood and the valve cover

Cool. Idles better than a lot of cars with the factory setup do these days. Pictures are tiny, wish we could get some bigger ones.
Buy the ticket, take the ride.
