Hey starquest members it's nice to meet you all ! new bee online. Just got 87 TSI and the stock boost gauge reads between -7 and -14 on idle. It does not look rigth to me (my first turbo car) is this normal ? I all so put the RPM's up to 5,000 and it went up to +2 and I let off. Am I in the rigth range or do I have a boost leak or something else ? The heads are making loud ticking noise so I pulled the value cover off and I found one of the rocker eating away the cam and I notice the rocker arms

I have here a complete running truck to part out since I can not pass smog. It is a 4 Cylinder, 5 Speed manual w/ 4x4 transfer case. The goodies that I have are the following: 32/36 re-jetted Weber carb done by Top-End Performance, Doug Thorley Headers ceramic coated header w/ complete 2.25" exhaust w/flowmaster, aftermarket steering wheel w/ hub adapter, electric fuel pump recommended by Top-End Performance, oil cooler, MSD ignition package, sway-a-way torsion bars, rear view window (tinted), c
